Updates and information about the NSW Pet Registry changes
The first release of the NSW Pet Registry for owners and breeders will be live from the week commencing 1 July 2024.
On this page you will find resources with more information about how these developments will fit in with the council’s everyday work managing companion animals. They may also be helpful when answering your community’s questions.
Updated and redesigned paper forms will be available to the public on the Pet Registry website from 2 July.
Updated website content for councils
We’d like to help you update relevant content on your website with suggested website copy explaining how pet owners and breeders can use the digital system. It includes new website links that will take your audience to expanded information on the new NSW Pet Registry website, which is part of the Office of Local Government website.
